Dr. Anton Janse Van Rensburg (Director)

Dr Anton Janse van Rensburg is a practising medical doctor from Pretoria. He is trained in the field of metal toxicology, has a master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition and has a business diploma though the Manchester Business School. He currently fulfils the role of Chief Medical Officer for the Executive Wellbeing Company, which specialises in the health of company leadership. He is an established public speaker and has authored and co-authored two health-related publications.
Dr Janse van Rensburg has a wealth of experience with regards to healthcare provision on the African continent. He has been involved in the establishment of health facilities in countries like South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Namibia and Zambia. He has also been involved in writing healthcare proposals on behalf of the World Health Organisation.
His core passion is addressing nutritional challenges through the development of novel food solutions in collaboration with local farming solutions.
Michelle Janse Van Rensburg
BOccTher (UP), MPH (WITS)
Michelle Janse van Rensburg is an Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree in Public Health. She has done NGO-work in rural, semi-rural and peri-urban settings across the country, as well as in Mozambique, Swaziland and rural China. She worked for nine years in academia as an occupational therapy lecturer at the University of Pretoria, where she specifically trained undergraduate students in community engagement through Academic Service Learning in poor communities such as Hammanskraal and Mamelodi. She then took a few years off to be with her young children. She is currently a part-time lecturer and researcher for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Pretoria, lecturing community health workers in Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) and Public Health theory and researching this training.
She is particularly passionate about the well-being of children and people with disabilities in poor communities.
Dr Briers Uys
BChD (UP), DipOdont (US)
Briers Uys qualified as a general dentist from the university of Pretoria with a BChD degree. He later obtained a DipOdont post graduate diploma in endodontics from the university of Stellenbosch. Briers gained valuable experience working as a Community dentist in the Primary health care system in Mitchell’s plain, Cape Town. After that, he worked as a general dentist in the Netherlands, before returning to South Africa in 2005.
Briers is working in private practice in Edenvale, Johannesburg and is also the in-house dentist at the Avril Elizabeth home for the mentally handicapped.
Christine Stent Pinha RD.SA
BSc Dietetics.UP (Hons)
Christine is a practicing dietitian working in private practice as well as being involved in corporate and executive wellness initiatives.
She directed her own corporate nutrition wellness company for 7 years, spending much time developing nutrition programs for well known corporate entities. She was also the head of the nutrition department of one of the largest South African corporate wellness companies. Her role there included working with a team to develop innovative online nutrition solutions as well as consulting company executives on healthy dietary principles.
Christine is also an experienced and sought after public speaker in the field of nutrition and she has presented internationally as well.Christine’s motivation is to take the difficulty and the ‘impossible’ barriers out of healthy eating. She is passionate about encouraging anyone who comes her way to start believing that their life is a gift and has a purpose. Making that investment in one’s personal well-being is worth it and the benefits far outweigh the challenges.
Lorraine Geel has been in active in the South African food industry since 1997 and has experience spanning from quality control to product development. She completed het MSc. (Agric) degree in 2000 in the field of Food Science. She is a co-founder of Consumers In Focus in 2006 that spesialises in sensory analysis of food product, personal care and home care products. Sensory Analysis is used to obtain insight in product attributes as well as consumers perseption of already identified attributes and this information is used to fine tune excisting and new product formualtions. Lorraine is SACNASP registered and is also vise chairman of SAAFoST Northern branch and member of SAMRA.
Dr Liandi Fourie
Dr Liandi Fourie is a practising medical doctor and graduate from the University of Pretoria. During her three year tour in Public Health, she developed a passion to treat patients in a manner that is functional, preventative, holistic and integrative.
She studied as an Integrative Practitioner under the South African Academy of Anti-Aging and Integrative Medicine and is currently a member of FAIM (Foundation of Anti-aging and Integrative Medicine).
Her passion is health with an integrative approach and patients travel from across South Africa to visit her practice in Pretoria.
